Hi HO TMB Fans -
Wow...I just received this CD from Deltagroove just yesterday and will write more once I stop playing it. The Phanton Blues Band's "Out of the Shadows" is just great. This crews shows why they are good enough to share the stage and backup Taj Mahal but have the depth, passion and talent to stand alone. They bring the funk, caribbean, gospel and R&B equally well on this CD. This is a quick review. More of a "Heads-up" because I will definitely be playing two or three tracks on this coming Monday's show. You should look for these tracks in the "New Music Spotlight" segment of my show, the first tracks after 6pm station ID. Once again, WWPV and "Those Midnight Blues" is bringing you great new music before it hits the streets. "Out of the Shadows" has a release date of November 21 but it is too good to sit on until then.
