Hi HO TMB Fans -
Great new releases just keep rolling into my inbox. Due to the generosity of Ruf Records, WWPV has received a copy of Aynsley Lister's, "everything I need". You heard me rave about "Pilgrimage Mississippi to Memphis" which he did in combination with Eria Lyytinen & Ian Parker. Well, this England-born & bred 21-year old more than ably acquitts himself with this effort. This is just excellent, Vermont granite-solid Blues Rock. I definitely look forward to playing more than just couple of tracks from this CD in the coming weeks.
Another wonderful suprise was the CD Canned Heat's "Instrumental 1967 to 1996". I haven't had time to listen to the whole CD but... ok...I like it. I do love instrumentals and this CD is no exception.
I hope to do more proper review of these two CDs in the near future. As you all know, if I can't say anything nice, I just won't say anything.
