The New Music Keeps Pouring In : Eric Lindell

Hi Ho TMB Fans -

It is that time of the year and the new releases are coming. Booyah! Just received Eric Lindell's new upcoming release "Change in the Weather". I will definitely be playing the first track, "Give It Time" featuring a harmonica credit to Vermont's very own Blues harmonica "proto-legend" Greg Izor. If you remember, Greg was my very special Guest Host on TMB back in January of this year. Congrats on the track credit and you blow a mean harp my friend. I have listened to the entire CD and enjoyed every track.

WWPV has also received some new titles featuring the Hollywood Blues, Kirk Flecther, Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers, and Mitch Kashmar. Also we have been very fortunate (Thank you Frank of Delta Groove) to get into the station in time for my various Blues Music Award features, The Mannish Boys' "That Represent Man" which has been nominated for Blues album of the year. You should expect to hear some of the great tracks and you will know why it was nominated.

Tonight, My intention is to feature tracks from all of the nominees for the 2006 BMA "Pinetop Perkins" Award for outstanding Blues piano player of the year : Marica Ball, Honey Piazza, Dr. John, Jon Cleary & Henry Butler. I just need to chase down a Henry Butler track.

I hope you can make it tonight.

Cheers,

OneChord
